Funny it doesn¹t say to fix our eye¹s on Buddha or Mohamed, but rather to JESUS.  Why?  It¹s says He is the author and perfecter of our faith, not someone or thing else but JESUS and Him alone.  Then GOD¹S Word goes on to tell us that for the joy set before Him, JESUS took on death, scorned it's shame, and is sitting down at the right hand side of the throne of GOD.

JESUS wants us to be able to entrust our lives into His hands.  He knows what's best for us even if we can¹t see that sometime.  There are times when we go down a path that we¹re sure is right for us, but the whole time we are moving on our own.  We don¹t have what JESUS wants for us in mind, but rather what we think is best for ourselves.  We need to look to Him when things start to get tough or too big for us to handle by ourselves.

All we have to do is realize that JESUS is bigger than whatever we have that pushes us around in our lives, and look to Him to make things right, and better.  Fix your eyes to Him and He will work things out for you.
