Last week we talked about putting on the full armor of the LORD, and how to stand firm under the devils attacks.  Now we read that we also need to stand firm and fight.  Fight to take hold of the eternal life to which we were called and to what we hold firm.  Now, I know that this won¹t be easy, we are instructed that the devil uses many tricks to try and lure us into a false sense of security, and let our guard down.  Right then he attacks,  then what happens?

Well, one of two things.  (1) We can take the easy way out, don¹t put up a front, just lay down and take it.  (2) We can stand firm in our faith in GOD¹S word, and fight.  The devil doesn¹t like when we resist, especially when we stand on the Word of the LORD, cause when it comes to GOD VS. satan he¹s gonna lose big time.

If we stand in the faith that we have in GOD we can¹t be knocked down, because since GOD is for us who can be against us?  No one, that¹s who.  When we make our stand in faith we have righteousness on our side.  And that is something that the devil can¹t stand up to.

LORD, increase my faith
