GOD provides us with a full array of tools to use against the devil and his minions.  The Belt of Truth, Breastplate of Righteousness, fit your feet with the readiness that comes with the Peace of the Gospel, and then take up the Shield of Faith, the Helmet of Salvation, and finally the Sword of the Spirit.  With all of these on our side I ask; 'how can we not win when we stand firm in our faith?'

The devil doesn't play fair, he tries to find where we are weak and push on the one vulnerable spot in order to break us down.  He pushes and pushes trying to break through our defenses so he can plow us over in guilt and condemnation.  Don't think for one moment that the devil will give you a break or recess.  He never will!

However, if we stand firm with all the things the LORD has prepared for us to use, and stand firm in our faith, we won't, can't fail or set aside our faith.  Paul tells us another way to help us stand in our faith and secure our victory - pray in the Spirit.

Praying in the Spirit is a leap of faith since we do not know what we are praying, but the HOLY SPIRIT in us prays what is right and good and the FATHER hears all HIS prayers.  With this in mind, we need to be alert and always stay our guard in the faith.
