"Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be men of courage; be strong."
1 Corinthians 16:13

Stand firm in your faith, don't give up or throw in the towel.  And why should we stand firm and be strong?  What is waiting for us when we pull through you ask?  Well, the prize is an everlasting life in the kingdom of heaven.  

What's up with being warned to be on our guard?  Check it - the devil loves to lay traps to trip us up and make us fall flat on our faces, he wants us to give up our faith.

GOD doesn't want us to fall, He wants us to succeed, and He wants us to watch out for the little traps that the devil lays out for us.  Be of courage, here is where we hear Him tell us not to throw in the towel.  Just because things start to get hard don't give up.  If  you are going through hard times keep moving forward, don't stop, be strong.

Our faith is all that we have.  If we be on our guard; stand firm in or faith, be men or women of courage, be strong, we can't fail.  The Lord will see us through.  Count on it!
