God Is For Us
"What
then shall we say in response to this? If GOD
is for us, who can be against us?"
Romans
8:31
The Answer to this question is found a few versus later, neither death, life, angels, demons, present nor the future, nor any powers, height, depth nor anything else in all creation. Not a single thing can stand against us when GOD is for us. We have to be willing to place ourselves in His hands though, and sometimes that's the hardest thing to do.
"There was a man walking along a cliff and lost his footing and fell down into the ravine, on his way down he managed to grab hold of a branch and hold on for literally his very life. He started to scream for help and as his hands were starting to slip, he heard a voice from above him say I can catch you. The man say's where are you I can't see you? The voice say's to him It is me JESUS, and I can help you just let go. So the man yells, is there anybody else who can help me".
A simple joke true, but still how many times have there been circumstances in our lives that simply allowing the LORD to take control would see them to a happier and better end. Sometimes, our not letting go, of a particular item or a circumstance can bring about havoc and destruction that only the devil likes to see.
But, the good news here is, If GOD is for us no one can stand against us, and that means the devil and all of his little tricks and games. Look to the LORD, place your trust in Him and He can and will stand for you today.
The truth has been shown to you through the Son, what are you going to get up and do about it?
