Faithfulness
[15]

"In Lystra there was a man crippled in his feet, who was lame from birth and had never walked.  He listed to Paul
as he was speaking.  Paul looked directly at him, saw that he had faith to be healed and called out,
"Stand up on your feet!  At that, the man jumped up and began to walk.
Acts 14:8-10

Sometimes our faith can only be exercised in actions, such as we see here.  No hesitation, because the moment we stop to find the logic in a situation may be enough time for the devil to sneak in a little doubt, at least enough for us to waiver in our faith and not pull through. GOD wants us to trust in Him with all our hearts, to do want He tells us to without pause, even if it doesn't seem very logical to our mind at the time.

I mean really how many people do you know that have never been able to walk, when told to "get up on your feet" are gonna just jump up and say ok?  The typical response is usually "go take a flying leap".  But here we see that this man had the faith to do as he was instructed, and that is what GOD is often looking for in us.

Faith as small as a mustard seed is enough to move entire mountains.  That is what we need in our lives, because without it were lost to the devil's little games.  The first time we're told to get up and walk our response can't be to tell JESUS to take a flying leap.  We need to act, to get up and do it.  Through faith as we see here we can do anything.

Now I'm not saying go out and take a bullet because you don't believe you can be shot.  Not at all!  GOD'S Word says not to test Him. (Deuteronomy 6:16)  What I am saying here is that our faith can make us whole.

LORD, increase my faith

The truth has been shown to you through the Son, what are you going to get up and do about it?

"All who call upon the Name of the LORD will be saved."
Romans 10:13
