Faithfulness
[13]

"Consider how the lilies grow.  They do not labor or spin.  Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor
was dressed like one of these.  If that is how GOD clothes the grass of the field, which is here today,
and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, how much more will He clothe you, O you of little faith.
Luke 12:27,28

JESUS starts off this teaching with telling people not to worry about what to eat or what to wear, because the FATHER sees to the needs of His faithful. Don't worry about having your needs fulfilled, GOD is faithful to His followers.  If He feeds the birds of the air and provides for the flowers in the field, how much more do you think He will care for us?  Much more, everything we need to live!

His Word says that if we seek His kingdom He will give us our needs, that He will be pleased to see to our needs.  Our part is to ask for what we need, seek His kingdom, and knock on the door.  He is waiting to answer our prayers.

If we are faithful to His Word, He is faithful to fill our needs.  He goes on to say that we need to set up for ourselves treasures in heaven, where no thief can come in and steal from us, and no moth can destroy what we have stored up in Him. It's a treasure that will never ever be exhausted, and where our treasure is there our heart will be also.  If we store up in heaven knowing that the FATHER is faithful to fill our needs, our heart is where our treasure lies, in our HEAVENLY FATHER.

LORD, increase my faith

The truth has been shown to you through the Son, what are you going to get up and do about it?

"All who call upon the Name of the LORD will be saved."
Romans 10:13
