"When JESUS heard this, He was amazed at him, and turning to the crowd following Him,
He said, "I tell you, I have not found such great faith even is Israel."
Luke 7:9

Here is a man who never saw JESUS face to face and still had so much faith in what the LORD was able to accomplish that first sent some elders to ask for help, then seemed to change his mind and sent a servant telling JESUS that he wasn't worthy for CHRIST to set foot in his house. So, instead he has so much faith to ask JESUS simply to say the words and his servant would be healed.

That is exactly how much faith the FATHER wants us to have. Enough to simply believe He is capable to sustain us and fulfill our needs. If we have enough faith to ask for what it is that we need, and the faith to believe that GOD is able to give us that which we need, then we're on pretty much the same path as the centurion mentioned here in Luke.

JESUS used this man as an example as to how great our faith in Him needs to be.  Remember the mustard seed?  This mans faith was easily twofold that.  Now, that is how much faith we need to have, so much that we are an example to those around us.
