Faithfulness
[5]
GOD does not leave you in the dust just because you can't keep up with the group. Not to mention that sometimes what the group does may not be all that good for your walk with the LORD. If the whole group jumped off a bridge would you do it too? (an old parody yes, but how true it is). If what all of your friends are doing isn't considered to be faithful to the LORD, should you go with the flow, so as not to cause waves? Is that the measure of your faithfulness to GOD?
How far should your faithfulness to your Heavenly Father extend? To the point where there is no more room for faithfulness to exist, then all the much more. Not possible. No way, right? Well think of it this way, fill up a glass of water to the top and what is it? Full right? Well keep the tap running until the water starts to pour over the top. So I ask again how faithful to your Heavenly Father should you be? To the point of overflowing.
Why, you ask, what's in it for me? The LORD loves the just, and He will never forsake those who are faithful to Him. That means when the group leaves you in the dust He will still be there for you. GOD isn't going anywhere without you. Just as you are faithful to Him, so He is faithful to you.
The truth has been shown to you through the Son, what are you going to get up and do about it?
"All
who call upon the Name of the LORD
will be saved."
