God Is Glorified In Jesus
"When
he was gone, JESUS
said, "Now is the SON
of man glorified and GOD is
glorified in HIM"
John
13:31
JESUS was speaking to His disciples about His death, and how He was to become glorified, He knew that the disciples still don't quite understand all that He had been telling them. He wants to explain to them that only through His death can He be glorified and through that, the Father is glorified.
In John 17:1 JESUS is in the garden praying for Himself, and JESUS say's "Father, the time has come. Glorify your son, that your son may glorify you". GOD'S glorification to man came through the death of JESUS, what does that mean for us?
Because of the death of JESUS on the cross, the Father has been glorified, and through this are we ourselves glorified. Romans 8:28-32 lets us know that we have been justified by the death of Christ on the cross, and those who GOD justifies He also Glorifies.
So if JESUS' death can allow us born in sin to be glorified, how much more do you think that death can glorify GOD? Now is the time to seek justification, now because time is short and His return is any day. GOD wants to glorify us through His Glory.
The truth has been shown to you through the Son, what are you going to get up and do about it?
