Unfailing Love

them give thanks to the LORD
for His
unfailing love and His
wonderful deeds for men."
Psalms
107:8
Is it just me or does that seem a little repetitive to you too? Although if you read this chapter in Psalms you will see that for each time they rejoiced in GOD'S unfailing love, they had good reason to do so. GOD had given them the food they needed, He had set them free from their bonds that had been holding them down. GOD also healed them and set them free from death, and He had even guided them to their desired Promised Land. GOD delights in setting His children free of their burdens when we call out for His love and mercy.
Every time the people of GOD need Him, you quickly find out He delights in hearing our prayers and answering them. GOD doesn't just turn a deaf ear to our pleas of mercy, or of an outpouring of unfailing love from Him. The LORD wants us to call out to Him and He loves to pour out His blessings to us. Through His wonderful deeds we see just how much He truly loves us, because if He didn't really care He would just choose not to listen to our cries for help.
His wonderful deeds of unfailing love starts with His giving us His Son as a sacrifice for our sins, and then works on down to the small things that we need everyday just to get by. If your stuck in a situation were you could really use GOD'S unfailing love, all you have to do is ask. The LORD loves and accepts us as we are and when we need Him we soon discover He's there, and when we call out, He answers.
The truth has been shown to you through the Son, what are you going to get up and do about it?
