Unfailing Love
[5]

"Warm me, Your servant, with a smile; save me because You love me."
Psalms 31:16

There are times when we all get lonely even though we have friends and family.  Why isn't that enough all the time?  I don't have the answer to that question.  If you do, write me and then we will both know why it happens to us sometimes.

My closest friends thought I was cool because I had both a dad and mom and lots of siblings at home.  True, but there were still times I would go for a walk talking to myself because I felt all alone in the world.  When I was young we did fun things together, but when I became a teen, things seemed like we went our different ways.

I wanted my friends to think I was always living out on the edge and strong inside.  I don't remember exactly what day it was that I finally got it, I had to let Jesus free inside of me.  When I felt real lonely, I would go for a walk and talk to Him instead of myself.  Talking to yourself all the time is just whack!

I listened to this preacher one time who said that the LORD gave His children unfailing love, that Jesus saves us because of His love for us.  Strange I couldn't figure this out on my own, but that day I felt like a truck slammed into me in the middle of the road.  We don't always need to have Jesus come to us in a vision, just having Him warm us with His smile because He loves us with an unfailing love is enough.  Check it - He is smiling at all of us right now, be warmed friends.

The truth has been shown to you through the Son, what are you going to get up and do about it?

"All who call upon the Name of the LORD will be saved."
Romans 10:13
