GOD Is light
"This is the
message we have heard from Him
and declare to you
GOD
is light; in Him
there is no darkness at all."

John 1:5
In this chapter John is talking about how
CHRIST is eternal, and this was the message that the Father gave to JESUS, to relate to us. This is how He did that. "When JESUS spoke again to the people, He said, "I am the light of the world." Whoever follows Me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." John 8:12 John got to witness first hand that JESUS was who He claimed to be, and He never claimed to be anything He was not.Now I want to point out this, we are to struggle to be Christ like, we are to run the race and persevere. If its true and
JESUS is the light of the world, and we are to strive to be like Him, then what help do we have? JESUS confirms us to be what He wants us to be. "You are the light of the world." Matthew 5:14 A Now, if JESUS tells us that we are the light to those who are unbelievers, then who are we to say otherwise?JESUS
is wanting to make us the light to the unbelievers in our schools and even at home. The only way to do this is make the commitment to live for Him everyday. We can be the light to the world, the city on a hill not able to be hidden because our light shines so bright everybody notices us.The truth has been shown to you through the Son, what are you going to get up and do about it?
