How many times have you been telling a story to your friends and at the end you say, "I swear to GOD". You just made GOD your witness, now ask yourself were you being completely honest?  Or like myself often enough did you bend the truth a little to build yourself up for your friends.

The only sport I truly enjoy playing is golf, so many times I find myself relating what happened out on the course, be it to my friends, coworkers, or family, and once in a while I'll make it sound as if I did better than I actually did. "I shot birdie and par on every whole yesterday" "I swear to GOD."  For those who know me hitting one or two par's out of nine is a good game.  How about you?  Ever tell a story to someone and tell them you did so much better than usual. "I caught a pop fly with the sun blinding me the whole time"  "I threw the ball on Friday for at least four touchdowns without any help from the defense" "I swear to GOD." Sound at all familiar?

Remember I said earlier GOD is always with us, no matter what. He is our trusted ally, our witness to what goes on in our day to day lives, He cares for us like no other, and wants us to invite Him into our hearts to stay.  Won't you make that commitment today?
