God Is One

"Well said, Teacher," the man replied. "You are right is saying that GOD is One and there is no other but Him."
Mark 12:32

The LORD our GOD is One LORD. The LORD is: GOD the Father, GOD the Son, and GOD the Holy Spirit. He is one person, at the same time He has three different personalities, the (Godhead) if you will.

We see these personalities displayed throughout the life of JESUS, He first speaks of the Father being His Heavenly Father in Luke 2:49.

While JESUS was in Jerusalem in the temple, He refers to the Temple as My Father's house. His earthly parents having lost Him when He was 12, go to find Him sitting and teaching the teachers of the Law (about the law). JESUS was only 12, and in His youth, can you see the significance here? You are never too young to do the will of the LORD.

JESUS Introduces the Spirit while being baptized in Matthew 3:17; Mark 1:10-11; Luke 3:21-22; and John 1:32. THE Spirit descends on JESUS in the form of a dove and a voice comes out of Heaven, the voice of the Father and says, "This is My Son with whom I AM well pleased." The Father speaks audibly so that men can hear Him pronounce that Jesus is the Son of GOD. What is so significant? GOD Himself let's men know that JESUS is who He claimed to be.

But let us not forget that JESUS is also One with the Spirit, and One with the Father. We find in
John 1:14  that JESUS is GOD made flesh, He came to earth to dwell with men. He was born in the natural way, He had an earthly set of parents, but He was conceived trough the Spirit, outside of sin. He was born with no sin, to take on our sins, and that includes you.

As you have clearly seen, GOD is One, there is no other, He stands alone. It is because He is One that you must come to Him alone for your eternal life. The LORD is paying attention to you at this very moment, why not call out to Him and become a Follower of JESUS today?

The truth has been shown to you through the Son, what are you going to get up and do about it?
